Case study — Electus Elite Academy
A patriotic brief — taken seriously, not literally.
The brief
Electus Elite Academy coaches candidates through the TNPSC civil-service exams in Chennai. They asked for a patriotic theme — which is the right instinct, because the whole point of the qualification is public service, and the wrong instinct if it becomes flags and slogans.
What we did
We took patriotism to mean seriousness rather than decoration: a restrained tricolour accent against a clean, formal layout, national iconography used sparingly and never as wallpaper, and the emphasis put on structure — courses, study materials, current affairs and results — because that is what a candidate is actually deciding on.
The result
A site that reads as an institution rather than a coaching advert, and one the academy updates itself: the Learning Corner, current affairs and event gallery are all theirs to change without coming back to us. It is live, and it is still being updated.
